میرا نام محمد اسحاق ہے اور میں لندن کے مضافات میں ایک مسجد کا امام ہوں۔سالوں پہلے کی بات ہے میں پاکستان میں روزگار کے لئے دھکے کھا رہا تھا کہ اچانک ایک صاحب نے مجھے لندن جانے کاراستہ دکھایا۔ دراصل ہوا یہ کہ میں کراچی میں ایک صاحب کے بچوں کو گھر پر قرآن پاک پڑھانے جاتا تھا۔ یہ برطانوی شہری تھے اور لندن میں ان کے کافی رشتہ دار مو جود تھے۔ انہیں وہاں اپنی مسجد کے لئے ایک امام کی ضرورت پڑی تو اپنے بھائی سے کہا کہ پاکستان سے کوئی اچھا سا عالم دین بھیج دیں اور اس طرح میری لاٹری کھل گئی اور میں لندن پہنچ گیا۔
مجھے روازانہ گھر سے مسجد جانے کیلئے بس پر سوار ہونا پڑتا تھا۔
لندن پہنچنے کے ہفتوں بعد، لگے بندھے وقت اور ایک ہی روٹ پر بسوں میں سفر کرتے ہوئے کئی بار ایسا ہوا کہ بس بھی وہی ہوتی تھی اور بس کا ڈرائیور بھی وہی ہوتا تھا۔ اب جو میں بتانے جا رہا ہوں وہ بلکل سچا واقعہ ہے اور میرے ساتھ پیش آیا۔
ایک مرتبہ میں بس پر سوار ہوا، ڈرائیور کو کرایہ دیا اور باقی کے پیسے لیکر ایک نشست پر جا کر بیٹھ گیا۔ سفید فام خاتون ڈرائیور کے دیئے ہوئے باقی کے پیسے جیب میں ڈالنے سے قبل دیکھے تو پتہ چلا کہ بیس پنس زیادہ آگئے ہیں۔

ٹرانسپورٹ کمپنی ان بسوں کی کمائی سے لاکھوں پاؤنڈ کماتی بھی تو ہے، ان تھوڑے سے پیسوں سے اُن کی کمائی میں کیا فرق پڑ جائے گا؟ اور میں ان پیسوں کو اللہ کی طرف سے انعام سمجھ کر جیب میں ڈالتا ہوں اور چپ ہی رہتا ہوں ویسے بھی میں غریب ہوں اور ان پیسوںپر میرا حق ہے۔
بس میرے مطلوبہ سٹاپ پر رُکی تو میں فیصلہ کر چکا تھا کہ نہیں یہ رقم میں نہیں رکھ سکتا اور یہ میرے لئے اللہ کی طرف سے ایک آزمائش ہے کہ میں حرام کھاتا ہوں یا نہیں۔
میں نے اُترنے سے پہلے خاتون ڈرائیور کو بیس پنس واپس کرتے ہوئے کہا؛ یہ لیجیئے بیس پنس، لگتا ہے آپ نے غلطی سے مُجھے زیادہ دے دیئے ہیں۔
خاتون ڈرائیور نے بیس پنس واپس لیتے ہوئے مُسکرا کر امام صاحب سے پوچھا؛کیا آپ اس علاقے کی مسجد کے نئے امام ہیں؟ میں بہت عرصہ سے آپ کو دیکھ رہی ہوں اور کچھ لوگوں سے آپ کے بارے میں پوچھا بھی تھا۔ میں نے اسے بتایا کہ ہاں میں ہی اس علاقے کی مسجد کا نیا امام ہوں۔ اس پر وہ بولی کہ میں آپ کی مسجد میں آ کر اسلام کے بارے میں
معلومات لینا چاہ رہی تھی کیا آپ کو اس پر کوئی اعتراض ہو گا۔ یہ بیس پنس میں نے جان بوجھ کر تمہیں زیادہ دیئے تھے تاکہ تمہارا اس معمولی رقم کے بارے میں رویہ پرکھ سکوں اور یہ جان سکوں کہ تم کتنے ایماندار ہو۔ اگر تم بیس پنس کے معاملے میں بے ایمانی کرتے تو پھر مذہب اور عقیدے اور خدا کے بارے میں تم پر بھروسہ نہیں کیا جاسکتا تھا۔ مجھے خوشی ہے کہ تم ایماندار ہو اور میں تم سے روحانی رہنمائی لے سکتی ہوں۔ میں نے اسے جیسے تیسے کر کے مسجد آنے کا وقت بتایا اور بس سے نیچے اتر آیا۔

Supermoon: Bigger moon of year to rise Saturday night

The biggest and brightest full moon of the year will  arrive Saturday night it passes closer to Earth than usual.

The event is a “supermoon,” the closest and therefore the biggest and brightest full moon of the year. The moon will be about 221,802 miles from Earth. That’s about 15,300 miles closer than average.

According to experts that proximity will make the moon appear about 14 percent bigger than it would if the moon were at its farthest distance. They said that difference in appearance would be hard to observe with the unaided eye.

The moon’s distance from Earth varies because it follows an elliptical orbit rather than a circular one.

Like any full moon, the supermoon will look bigger when it’s on or near the horizon rather than higher in the sky, thanks to an optical illusion

The supermoon will bring unusually high tides because of its closeness and its alignment with the sun and Earth.
