Facebook professional network BranchOut has been, well, branching out, adding two new users per second to top the six million mark and announcing some new features that will be rolled out this week.
The new features BranchOut is adding are:
- An interactive to-do list, which appears upon clicking on the jobs or people tabs. The list will allow users to update information including details on work history, education, and skill sets. The to-do list also features buttons that allow users to ask friends for endorsements and recommend jobs to friends.
- An improved algorithm for the customized job board, recommending potential positions based on users’ work histories and skill sets.
- The ability to add key words to users’ profiles in order to highlight elements of their skill sets.
