well for sleeping pills, I must say its an increasing trend but to Say 7% are involved in in drugs and narcotics consumption is not completely true. The figures are overly exaggerated to some extent.

ReplyDeleteHi Sehrish,
ReplyDeleteIt would have been great if this article would have been in English !!!!
@AliSajid.... soch hai aap ki, You really don't know what is happening in Pakistan. I wish that you never have to deal with kind of situation when you feel helpless. I have suffered 2 years, dealing with my only brother, when he get addicted to drugs. 7 percent for female population is not exaggerated, in fact the percentage is much much more.
ReplyDeleteyeah I think i really dont know whats happening in Pakistan. But if i see from the view of an Optimist, still 93% are not affected with this plague.
ReplyDeleteour hypocrite approach to all issues is the route cause. We dont take issues on merit but try to smell either Sazish of Yahud o Nissara or by only saying that this is because we left bla bla bla.......
ReplyDeleteexaggeration or no exaggeration is not the point... authenticity & source of any news is a serious concern. Percentage may be more or less, but are we the only country experiencing such issues. I strongly feel and recommend my fellows and friends to project positive & soft image of the country and nation. Unfortunately, we are more focused on highlighting 'negative' about ourselves. Let's help building Pakistan instead of silent viewers and critics.
ReplyDeleteI fully support Sufian's point of view. I have been away from Pakistan for last 10 years, things are happenning all over the world, but our media irrespective of type, is taking lead in projecting the negative immage of Pakistan. May Allah give us strength and wisdom to pull our great country from this depth of darkness.
