Peshawar: Federal Investigation Authority (FIA) has arrested a student of University of Engineering and Technology (UET) software engineering student for his alleged involvement in cyber crimes.
Sources said that the student, Muhammad Amir, resident of Mardan district of Khyber Pakhtoonkhwa, was involved in blackmailing and demanding ransom from girls through fake email addresses.
Case has been registered against the student under cyber crimes regulations, the sources said.
