Highlight violence but not for award

Sharmeen Obaid-Chinoy caused to bring Oscar first time in the country’s history yet masses have become confused about the glory significantly highlighted by media.
No doubt Oscar Award is a big achievement and considered as highest recognition at international level and people aware of such events are very much happy and lauded Sharmeen but a section of Pakistanis, at the same time, think the more such issues should be highlighted without any sake of reputation.
I don’t know about ”Saving Face” and its topic/message, but this Oscar winning will be considered as an advancement of liberalism and secularism in Pakistani society, our media will support it and more such activities will be encouraged.

I am sure more than half of Pakistan doesn’t even know what the Oscars are because of widespread ignorance of our society. This movie will not improve the issue highlighted here but caused to passage of bill in the parliament, which might be effective in the society.
The issue of violence against women needs to be highlighted properly. There are some question raised in the mind that someone should also make movie on Dr, Affia Siddique and atrocities she has been facing for long period.
Someone should also highlight the woman like Waheeda Shah, a PPP MPA, who physically roughed up presiding officer in by elections. Someone should also raise issues like child marriage, veeni and karo kari, which has been witnessed in the areas of powerful feudal and political leaders of the country.
